Initial and Month Charm Selections for Jewelry Studios
Choose plain steel characters when the letter or number should be the main feature. Choose stone-set brass initials when sparkle should lead, or month-themed accents when a remembered date is the organizing idea. For a studio, that is a more useful starting point than one broad request for personalized charms.
The tradeoff is character coverage and decorative style. Steel offers A–Z and digits 1–9; the brass route offers A–Z; the month route offers twelve names. Count repeated characters individually and keep chains separate, rather than assuming one option supplies a complete alphabet or finished necklace.

Relia Options for Character and Month Projects
Relia · In-house jewelry manufacturing in Qingdao, China
Relia's steel character range includes letters, numbers and separate Necklace Chain or Bracelet Chain alternatives. Our stone-set brass range adds Gold necklace and Gold heart choices alongside its 26 initials, and the month-themed range separates January–December from its chain option.
These actual menus give jewelry studios material and design choices from our Qingdao factory before defining the assembly. Start with the exact letter, digit or month and its quantity, then match the connection to your own parts. A shared18-inch label in the month range does not establish a chain included with every accent, and the month name does not identify a traditional natural birthstone.
Select the range by the project requirement
| Range | Actual coverage | Separate choices |
|---|---|---|
| Plain steel | A–Z; numbers 1–9; Gold | Necklace Chain; Bracelet Chain |
| Stone-set brass | Gold A–Z; zircon decoration | Gold necklace; Gold heart |
| Month themed | January–December; gold-plated brass direction | Gold Chain Necklace |

Letters, Numbers and Missing Characters
For a number-led steel project, retain the actual 1–9 coverage. Zero is not part of those listed number choices, so a date or sequence requiring zero needs another defined route. Do not fill the gap by assuming that a title promising numbers includes every numeral.
Both letter routes provide A–Z selections, but each chosen character needs its own quantity. For a name or word with repeated letters, count the repeated character rather than ordering one of each alphabet option. This is especially important when several projects share the same initial.
Coverage that affects the component list
| Requirement | Useful route | Important boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Any A–Z initial | Steel or stone-set brass | Choose material and decorative style |
| Numeral 1–9 | Steel range | Keep the exact digit quantity |
| Zero | Not a listed steel choice | Define an alternative requirement |
| Repeated letter | Selected A–Z range | Order the character more than once |

Stone-Set Brass for a Decorative Initial
Choose Gold A–Z brass initials when zircon sparkle should lead rather than a plain metal outline. The micro-insert direction and gold-plated appearance stay with the selected letter. Compare its actual outline, dimensions and connection position; different characters need not share a stone count or equal width.

Count Physical Characters for Each Project
A character menu is a selection system, not a complete alphabet pack. For a project using ANNA as separate characters, you need two A choices and two N choices: four character components in total. The calculation does not establish how they will be joined or whether that arrangement is supplied as a finished necklace.
Keep the chain and connecting parts on separate lines. This makes the list useful for an assembly project and distinguishes it from an original one-piece name-pendant enquiry. If you need the latter, the custom-name development route is the more relevant starting point.
Illustrative repeated-character list
| Line | Character quantity | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| A | 2 | Two individual A components requested |
| N | 2 | Two individual N components requested |
| Character total | 4 | 2 + 2, excluding chain and connectors |
| Chain/connection | Separate requirements | No finished assembly inferred |

Month Choices Without an Assumed Mineral Calendar
The month-themed range gives you twelve named choices from January to December. Select a month for its personal association, then retain the actual decorative appearance and material requirement. A month name does not automatically identify a traditional natural birthstone.
The range describes brass/copper alloy, gold plating and zircon decoration. Keep those descriptions specific to the selected project. If exact mineral identity is central to your own retail story, state it separately rather than deriving it from the month or from the color of the reference.

Allocate Quantities to Exact Options
Allocate quantity by exact character or month, not only a total charm count. Keep Gold Chain Necklace separate from the January–December selections; the shared 18-inch/simple label does not supply a chain with every accent. Each chosen component and its actual contents need a clear purchasing line.

Make the Character and Connection as One Geometry
A character's outline and its connection need to work together. Relia's in-house cutting and pressing routes can take a new flatter letter from a defined profile into a metal shape, with the interior spaces, edges and attachment opening retained in that geometry. For a more volumetric letter, a model-to-cast-metal route provides a different starting structure. Neither route makes every alphabet character identical in width or hanging position.
The stone-set brass initials name zircon decoration and micro-insert wording; the plain steel characters and month accents remain separate selections. Keep the decorative body and connection part distinct so a nominal character width does not become a claimed hole dimension. The largest part that passes through the opening may be the chain end or connector rather than the narrow chain strand.
For your studio project, compare the complete selected connection with the actual chain or bracelet interface. A detachable layout and a fixed layout need different component relationships. This is why we preserve the actual character or month choice and its supply unit rather than promising universal compatibility from similar-looking photographs.
Profile to a Usable Charm Interface
| Stage | What it controls | Observable output |
|---|---|---|
| Character profile | Outline and internal spaces | Actual selected character |
| Flat or volumetric form | Different route to metal geometry | Edge and side profile |
| Attachment geometry | Opening position and usable clearance | Complete connection view |
| Actual mating part | Largest passing section | Selected charm with intended chain end |

Choose One Letter Style Before Mixing Materials
Begin with Gold steel characters for a plain-metal project or brass zircon initials for a sparkle-led one. Compare one selected character at consistent scale before expanding quantities. Deliberate mixing can work visually, but each base, finish and connection still belongs to its actual component.

A Studio Enquiry with a Complete Parts List
Send the exact letters, digits or months and the quantity of each, followed by the chain and connection requirements. Add any target dimensions and whether the project is component-led or a request for a complete selected necklace.
We can discuss that defined selection and any proposed development separately. Keep one-piece name customization, month-mineral claims and universal compatibility outside the parts list unless they are explicit requirements for the project.
